He grew up in New Zealand, so his "get-away-from-it" playground was the natural environment and beautiful landscape that the country had to offer. From mountaineering the peaks to caving the depths and all things in between such as hiking, biking, kayaking and climbing, he feels at home in the wilderness. He has an almost in-containable enthusiasm for learning new things.

Once he lived among the legions of the corporate environment, Si swapped his office for an outdoor workspace that he shares with the world. He loves new experiences about the outdoors. He thrives when he is teaching others to help them explore their comfort zones boundaries, enhance their abilities and explore their own new experiences.
