EAGLE RESCUE TRAINERS INTERNATIONAL

All our instructors must adhere to the ERTI Code of Conduct.  Any instruction and assessment given, or public statements made are subject to the Code of Conduct in respect to the technical rescue subjects for which they are certified.  The Code of Conduct does not extend to operational rescues undertaken by members.

 

In addition, our instructors will observe the following:


(1) No substance abuse – there shall be no alcohol or illicit drugs present at any instruction or assessment activities, nor shall students, candidates,         instructors, assessors or those under such person’s control be under the influence of alcohol or illicit drugs at any time.


​(2) Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment, free of discrimination and harassment:


      a)Nondiscrimination on the grounds of race, skin colour, nationality, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, religion, or political association.  


      b)No harassment in the forms of: racial, sexual, physical, verbal, power, psychological, retaliation, and quid pro quo.


(3) Good standing – our instructors and assessors must maintain their memberships in good standing with ERTI, in addition to complying with other         professional conduct requirements and Code of Conduct.​
